So, a lot of people don't realise that there are many different ways that you can listen to our radio station online, some using your computer, and some without!
The easiest way is to use your computer to hop on to our web site at NonStopPlay.com and click on the listen live link on the front page, this will open a pop up radio player, and that's it. As simple as that, nothing to install and you can do it on virtually any computer.
We also have a free desktop radio app which you can download, which creates a shortcut to allow you to listen without having to visit the website.
If you have a wifi internet radio, you can also listen using that. A wifi radio is similar to a normal AM/FM or DAB radio, in the fact that it's a standalone device, and tunes in usually with a tuning dial or knob and preset buttons. Instead of tuning in via conventional terrestial broadcasts, these radios use a directory which you can scroll to view the stations available. One of these directories that a lot of wifi radios use is called Reciva Radio.

If you're away from your computer, and away from your home and office and wifi radio, you can still listen. Through 2G, 3G and 4G technology you can listen to the radio on your mobile or cellular device. Such devices include iPhone, Nokia, phones on the Android platform and also Blackberry phones.
There are many ways to listen to the radio online using your iPhone or iPod touch, either via wifi or 3g. One of the ways you can do so is by downloading the ShoutCast app to your device. This is a free app to let you listen. A good way to get free music on your iPhone!
As with the iPhone, it's another app which is needed to listen to the radio on your Android smartphone - we found that StreamFurious was a good choice for this. There are many other apps available though, which you can find in the Android marketplace.
We looked at how you could listen to the radio online using your Blackberry smartphone. We found that tunewiki was a good way to do this. You can download the tunewiki app from the BlackBerry App World
Finally, we looked at how you could listen to the radio online using your Symbian Nokia phone. The easist way we found was to use Nokia internet radio. Again this is a free app and a good way to listen to free music on your Nokia phone without having to subscribe or download.
From trying all these different handsets, we found that there were many free apps available to allow you to listen to stations such as NonStopPlay.com Dance Radio on your phone.

NonStopPlay.com Dance Radio Gets Blogging!
OK, so here we are at NonStopPlay.com Dance Radio - for those that don't know, we are an online dance music radio station from the UK, we broadcast on the internet, streaming live to your computers, mobiles and wifi radios. We let you listen to free music online without any subscription, either on our web site or via a mobile device. We play all sorts of dance music, including the latest upfront, commercial club & mainstream dance tracks with the finest RnB, Old Skool, Dub Step, House, Electro, Bassline, UK garage, Drum & Bass, Trance and Techno.
So today we're in the office and taking a break from being in the studio and playing all that dance music. Yes, we've decided to create a blog! Maybe it'll be a little about behind the scenes at the radio station, perhaps a bit on the day to day goings on. We'll try and keep it updated on what we're doing, and be a little more than just about the music we broadcast.
Well, this is our first post, let's see how it goes!
